I recently updated to mcse2003 & during the month end of February, I realised Microsoft was discontinuing support for most of the mcse2000 courses on the 31 st of March.that meant I had one month to revise before I took the 70-210 exam..I requested the revision kit which I got after 3 days, studied intensely for 3 weeks sat & passed my exam..am proud to be a Microsoft Certified Professional ID: 6132524 thanks to skills train. After joining this course I think I have achieved a lot. I am working a full time job but still managing time for my studies. I am regularly sending my TMA's and getting good results as well. Before,I was living a normal life just working but now after introduced by this course I think that I have got something to study for my better career so I always study hard. I used to think that I can never study IT and change prospects of my life but now I even myself can't believe that I am actually doing it. My families especially my husband is very proud of me when he look my TMA results and the results also encouraging me do better better next time. I am looking forward to that day when I'll get my first job in IT. So all these things are the greatest achievements for me. I have studied very hard for the last 2 month after having gotten married, moved house twice, being attacked on the street and sustaining a stabbing wound last year. I stepped up my studies beginning of this year and have passed my first exam A+ Essentials with 750/900 marks! I am now going to take the Second exam. I have only reached half way in my A+ study books and was really determined to pass even before completing the second set of books! It took lots of hard work and late nights! A wise man ones said, you come into this world to make a difference or remain a difference. I never had the fool understanding until now, as a domestic worker with so many limitations, I have been able to make a difference. With little or no time, I have been able to maintain constant TMA scores of about 90-100%. After much stopping and starting I have finally persevered and completed the first part of my course. Despite redundancy and learning a new job plus family bereavement I have stuck to my objectives and got through. With a clear study plan now in place I am looking forward to the next part. I May not have been a quick in achieving this but have done so with excellent results in my TMA's - something that I am most proud of. I have to admit that following this course has not been easy, not in terms of the level of the work but finding time in such a busy life. I decided to do this course as I had come to a time in my life when I realized things had to change, I could no longer carry on doing the same old monotonous day job and living the same life, and the only way forward to better myself and succeed was to do a course. I have always loved working with computers and everything to do with them always came naturally to me. Over the years times have been tough having to deal with losing touch with my parents and then later finding out my mother has an incurable illness. My boyfriend has found it difficult to hold down a job for many years so we have always struggled with money worries but I have never and won't ever give up on him and am determined to help him make something of his life too. Just over a week ago I find out my boyfriend had yet again lost his job so instead of focusing on the negatives of the situation we looked at his positives and decided he needed to go back to college in order to fulfil his ambition of doing a degree. So I have been helping him prepare his application. I have always had a job and continuously brought home the money, I also negotiated with my employers for me to do an extra hour a day in order to earn more money to make ends meet but what comes along with doing more hours is less time to study for my course and extra tiredness as well as having to fit in normal everyday things like cooking, cleaning etc. I struggled for a while and I guess my course work suffered a little until I found a way of making things work. I now get up earlier in the morning and get to work an hour and a half before I am meant to start work and I do my college work and then any opportunity I get whether it's a break or lunch I will fit in some more college work. I find this way of working better as my brain is at it's best at the start of the day rather than I get home from work and I can notice the difference in my TMA results. I am really pleased with my result this month in particular as the first lesson in the next part of the course was more challenging because there was more to learn in that one lesson than in previous lessons. I will continue working away with the only thing I can cling to that keeps me going, the fact that once I have completed my course my life will be so much better. I just wanted to say thanks for all the good work you guys do. I should let you know that I think life has been great and interesting since I started my course with the SkillsTrain on Web Design. The tutor team has been excellent in all respects, and have played an integral part in the process of giving me a thorough insights about my course as well as a new leap forward in my career. I am now restarting my studies after a short break with illness and medication changes, I am positive that the course I am studying CIW Website design manager is well within my capabilities, if I work hard and achieve this part of the course (Javascript), I will succeed. This is a new and at first daunting subject but I am gradually grasping an understanding of the concept. I want to return to work in a satisfying job that I will enjoy, I now know that this is the right subject for me. I have always found being creative easy but have to work at technology a lot harder. This month I am going to try to complete at least half of this part of the course. My illness has been restricting for the last 7 years, but I have never stopped trying to overcome it. My aim is to complete this course and get back to work by the autumn this year. Because of this course ive taken from SkillsTrain I have made 2 professional websites for businesses. Showplatescheshire.com and Elitevaletparking.co.uk. I have made a booking system for Elite Valet Parking and implemented javascript booking form into the website. This earned me a sum of around £2000 which I think youll agree is quite an achievement considering I'm only 16 years old. Since starting this course I have learnt the "basics" of internet browsing, software, networking and email security aswell as FTP and its necessity in the I.T industry. These basics I thought I already knew, the course has taught me new things, and developed on knowledge I already had. I am now learning to use Dreamweaver CS3, learning to organise my desktop space and have learnt that keeping a a good regimental file structure is essential. To many this May not be an "achievement" as such. To me, this course was a key handed to me unlocking my new future, I have the tools, knowledge and support I need to provide myself with a new career. I am looking forward to moving on with parts B and C but realise part A is just as important, and that you have to learn to crawl before you can walk. Many thanks. Kind regards. Following January and February when I passed 5 MCP exams, in March I managed to passed another 2. By doing this I have finished my MCSE studying. I have gained MCP/MCSA/MCSE qualifications with extraordinary good result. 6 out of 7 exams I have passed with more then 900 points and one exam with 895 points. Consistantly high marks- so far out of the seven TMA's I have attempted, the lowest mark I have recieved is 89%. I won't lie, it has been a long hard and at times frustrating road, I am now near the end of the course and am currently starting my own Web Design company. Which seems to be doing OK. This new role allows me to work the hours that suit me, so I can also be with my family. none of this would I have been able to acheive without thew help of Skills Train.
