I haven't been keeping up with my CIW course as much as I would of liked to due to health reasons, but after an MRI scan a neuroma was found which has been causing my excruciating pain almost daily now & I can have an operation very soon to remove the neuroma, finally after 12 years I will be pain free. Since ever I started training with skillstrain,I have radiated confidence and attended two interwiew and was successful to the extent that the interviewer said he is going to start recommending skillstrain when I answered the question ;what do you understand by the following HUB,ROUTER & SWITCHES. I've recently been diagnosed with Cancer (Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia) after a regular Eye Test which came as a big shock and very divastating. Im only 29 years old and I thought I had this massive life ahead of me but now its going to be a touch and go. I was meant to go for the second interveiw with a local I.T company but all that has gone out of the window. I've been going through a series of tests and awaiting to undergo chemotherapy which I hope I will respond well to. HI, 6 YEARS AGO I WS HOMELESS ON THE STREETS WITH NO HOPE FOR A FUUTURE AND CERTAINLY NEVER DREAMED OF ONE IN IT. AFTER MANAGING TO SORT MYSELF OUT A BIT AND SETTLING DOWN TRYING OUT MANY DIFFERENT COURSES. IT CAME TO LIGHT A FEW YEARS AGO THAT I SEEM TO HAVE A NATUAL ABILTIY FOR PC HARDWARE AND A FAIRLY GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF THE WORKING OF PC HARDWARE. I SAW THIS COURSE ADVERTISED ON TELEVISION AND PHONED THEM UP AND THAT'S WHERE IT ALL STARTED. Despite the pressures of caring for my one year old son and the household chore, I have achieved excellent results in the last 3 months. I have been highly motivated, working hard and received good support from my family and tutors alike. This has proved to be very fruitful and enabled me to make rapid strides in my training with very good marks. This shows that with right determination and efforts I can reach my precious goal. I thank the Skills train team for providing me the platform to rediscover my potential. Hello, I am a mechanical engineering graduate, but was still a complete novice in web related issues before I started this program. To say the truth, all I knew and did online was to check my Yahoo mail!!!!. I do not have access to the internet I don't even have a computer. I should be doing a course called "Beginning for beginners". After months of illness I felt that I would just get on with it and do my best and since that time I have seen some changes: alright it hasn't been anything astonishing to an outsider but within myself I am quietly satisfied with the knowledge that things are moving forward albeit slowly. There is a confidence about my studying that is very gratifying and at the sending of each TMA I am overcome with the sense of achievement beyond my expectation. Just I wanted to let you know that I used the Skills Train Network+ study guides to prepare for the Network+ 2007 Edition exam. I passed on the first try without problem. I am highly recommending to all of my friends to join with skills Train because this computer training college provides Realistic, Fantastic and skillful course materials for getting success. Well, after a busy first half of the year I was struggling to keep up with my study timetable and also lead a busy life. I work for a medium sized telecomms/I.T company and have been trying to move more into the I.T side of things, as I believe there is more prospects and opportunity, but this has proved difficult as I do not have the necessary experience they require, that was one of the main reasons I embarked on this study programme and course. I had started IT Bsc but was forced to leave university in my first year. In March 2003 I had a routine back operation and was assured full recovery within 1 month, however four years later and I am still suffering from excruciating lower back Pain (coxcyc bone). It has made my life very difficult and is worst when sitting. The pain becomes unbearable very quickly. To say things have been difficult is a huge underestimation. Nearly two years after my operation I enroled for this course. I was lying down working on a laptop but that made my back worse so I requested and was granted "time out". My wife who has been great from the beginning was obviously under massive amounts of stress and after four years of battling this hard reality it finaly became to much and she suffered a VT attack (a serious heart condition). It was brought about by stress. I was visited by a friends relative recently who is a doctor abroad. He advised me to take some medicine and since taking it I have found some relief. It has allowed me to put in time so I am able to continue with the course. I submitted my assignment recently where I had to design a web site. It was my first assignment since restarting my course. I got 100%. Some days are still very difficult now my wifes health is not so great anymore but I am determined to complete this course and am very glad I began it. Maybe there are many other place offering similar courses but I am glad I chose scheidegger as the whole service they provide is excellent and most importantly the way they have understood my personal issues and even this competition shows they really care about making a difference in peoples lives. The last few months for me have been really hard, on top of the fact my laptop has broken twice and had to be wiped clean of all my work, my partner has been to and from hospital. After months of trying to juggle the studying, homelife, kids and work (nights) I can finally see that it will all be worth it in the end. Just sent in TMA 10 and waiting for the results, still averaging 95% and I actually know that the work that I have done is paying off. I recently upgraded the memory and the graphics on my home pc and it now works like a dream. Actually being phoned up to come and try and sort out peoples PCs (for a fee !!) and I have also got a placement with a local IT solutions firm in order to broaden my horizons in the IT world. Still got a long way to go but I am no longer out of my depth and will be be looking forward to my career change, probably after Christmas. I thought I would struggle with the Javascript section of the course, but I have been very pleasantly surprised with how quickly I picked it up with a little patience and determination. I was delighted to get 100% for the script I submitted for my final assessment, especially since my health has deteriorated again this month so it's been a struggle sometimes to keep up. At the same time I have completed a database-driven website for a friend, making use of php and mySQL which I've also had to learn as I went along. This all gives me confidence that I can be successful in the course and go on to make a living, despite my health issues.
